Our story
It started with a brownie. It did not stop there.
Andrew Eckhardt founded ThinSlim Foods in 2010 after his own search for lower-carb food. His experience at Linda’s Diet Delites helped shape the idea.
First came a brownie. Bread came next. The aim was simple: make food he wanted to eat every day, with fewer carbs and calories in mind.
The filling was never the hard part. Anyone can find a lower fat cheese. Finding a crust that still eats like a crust after you take the carbs out, that took years and the right bakers. And we still argue over twenty calories. It sounds like nothing. To the people who buy our food it decides whether something fits the day.

Questions about our package claims?
For selected ThinSlim Foods breads, bagels and pizza crusts, we replace ordinary air with a protective gas mixture and seal each package in a special barrier film. Together, the gas, film and seal slow spoilage without added preservatives. This is called modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The labeled unopened shelf life is one year from production; check the printed date for the time remaining and use or freeze by that date. Once opened, refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze.
