Having a meat-based diet increases endotoxin absorption and has metabolic consequences. These consequences can cause anything from fever to a haemorrhagic shock. There are many ways to avoid these endotoxins such as leading a plant-based diet. There are also some ways to mitigate these repercussions such as consuming pumpkin seeds or ghee butter, which will absorb endotoxins.
